Moving Files To Other Locations

Moving Files To Other LocationsMoving a file to another folder is easy in Windows 95.

1 - Select the file you want to move by single left clicking on its icon

2 - Select "Cut" (Ctrl + X) from the Edit menu.

3 - Open the folder where you'd like to place the file, and choose "Paste" (Ctrl + V) from the Edit menu. The file is then moved from its old location to the new selected location.

If your source folder and destination folders are on the same disk, you can drag your file from one folder to the other, and Windows 95 moves it for you.
