How To Delete Items From The Start Menu

Did you ever click the Start Menu button and find items on that menu that you don't want. Sometimes you may have removed a program or a file and forgot to remove the shortcut to it on the Start menu. There's an easy way to remove the item in question under Windows 98. Here's how:

1 - Click the Start button

2 - Select the item you want to use by Right-clicking on it

3 - Select "Delete" from the drop down menu

4 - The item is then sent to the Recycle Bin

5 - Repeat steps 1-4 for any other item you want to remove

NOTE: You can not delete "Programs", "Settings", "Find", or "Shutdown" from the start menu.
