Changing Double-click Speed Of Your Mouse

How To Change The Double-click Speed Of Your Mouse

Do you find yourself having to Double-click on an icon more than once to start a program or open a folder? Maybe your mouse isn't adjusted optimally for the way you like to work. You can adjust how fast you need to double click by following the instructions below:

To change your double-click speed:

1 - Click the Start button

2 - Select the Setting Menu

3 - Select Control Panel.

4 - Double-click the Mouse icon

5 - In the Mouse Properties window, click the Buttons tab

6 - Click and drag the "Double-click Speed" slider bar to adjust the setting.

7 - Once adjusted, double-click the jack-in-the-box to test your setting. You can always repeat steps 6 and 7 until you find the comfortable double-click speed for you.

8 - When you have found the correct settings for your work habits, click the "Apply" and "OK" buttons to make your change permanent.
