Windows 98 Changing Speed Of Your Mouse

Change Your Mouse Speed To Suit Your Style

In Windows 98, you can change the speed of your mouse or pointer to suit your working style. When you have the need to precisely position a graphic or other object into your working document, your normal mouse response rate can be just a little too fast for your liking. You can slow down the mouse speed if you'd like.

To change your mouse speed:

1 - Click the Start button

2 - Select the Setting Menu

3 - Select Control Panel.

4 - Double-click the Mouse icon

5 - In the Mouse Properties window, click the Motion tab

6 - Click and drag the Pointer Speed slider bar to adjust the mouse speed to your liking.

7 - Click OK to close the Mouse Properties window
